How We Started
This fund was started in honor of John Hebert, long time Downers Grove resident, who passed away in March 2024 after a brief battle with colon cancer. This scholarship will be used to support students in the Biology Department at Elmhurst University who are interested in graduate school and entering the field of research. Our hope is to

This scholarship will be used to support students in the Biology Department at Elmhurst University who are interested in graduate school and entering the field of research. Our hope is to support those who will help find cures for these diseases so other families no longer have to go through these trying times.
